At three months, Gus weighs in at 34 pounds and he is definitely growing up.
It seems he no longer thinks that 'No' is a nickname for Gus, and he is getting more independent. He likes taking his taking his toys to the back deck so he can run circles around the table and chairs. One isn't enough, so before long there will be 3 or 4 of his 'friends' laying around the deck. He is also getting to be more of a snuggle bug.
He's been walking with his sea pony leash but just this week graduated to a more 'grown up' collar for some early training which was met with resistance at first but now that he knows there are treats too, he is all for it!
And, Karma has had a real case of the 'zoomies' lately. If you're not sure what that is, you'll know when you see her. She runs a million miles an hour in a circle, only a really big circle. She'll start on the back deck, run all the way around the driveway then back up the stairs only to begin it all again. Sometimes it is just a loop down the hill around the car and back, but always a circle and always at zoom speed. Watch the video on the left below for a closer look at the Zoomies!
